GLOIn collaboration with travel technology company Caravelo, Wizz Air is introducing its MultiPass travel subscription, which offers two options for domestic travel within Italy and international services from Poland. This subscription service will be available for a period of six months and allows subscribers to book one flight per month for a fixed fee, eliminating last-minute travel surcharges for frequent flyers.
The MultiPass offers include the following:
-
For €37 ($40) one-way or €74 ($80) round trip, passengers can travel across Wizz Air’s extensive Italian network from bases in Catania (CTA), Milan (MXP), Naples (NAP), Palermo (PMO), and Rome (FCO). Destinations include popular tourist spots like Venice (VCE), Turin (TRN), Olbia (OLB), and the upcoming connection in Comiso (CIY) in southern Sicily, scheduled to launch later this month.
-
Polish travelers have more options available. The one-way subscription service costs zł239 ($57), while a round trip is priced at zł478 ($115). Wizz Air operates nearly 5,000 monthly international flights to various destinations across Europe and North Africa from its main bases in Warsaw (WAW), Katowice (KTW), Gdańsk (GDN), Kraków (KRK), and Wrocław (WRO).
As is typical for low-cost carriers, passengers have the option to add priority boarding, a 10 kg cabin bag, or a 20 kg checked bag for an additional fee.
Regarding the subscription services, it is unclear if the six-month plan will be extended or if Wizz Air plans to expand the MultiPass offering across Europe. Currently, Volaris, FlySafair, and Alaska Airlines are also providing similar subscription services powered by Caravelo.
