We’re looking for a Product Owner – Loyalty & Engagement to help drive customer retention, frequency, and value across Western Union’s digital and retail channels. In this role, you’ll lead the roadmap for loyalty and content-led engagement initiatives—ensuring our customers receive timely, relevant, and rewarding experiences. You’ll work cross-functionally with design, data, marketing, and engineering to deliver personalized journeys that deepen customer trust and connection.

Role Responsibilities

  • Own and prioritize the product backlog for Content Network and Loyalty initiatives.
  • Define, launch, and optimize rewards and loyalty programs that increase customer value and repeat transactions.
  • Deliver personalized content and recommendations that drive engagement across multiple touchpoints (app, web, receipt).
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution and impactful customer experiences.
  • Use data and experimentation to measure performance, identify opportunities, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Championing a customer-first mindset that ensures engagement experiences are intuitive, valuable, and aligned to business outcomes.

Role Requirements

  • Overall, 7-12 years of experience along with 3-5 years of relevant years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in loyalty, engagement, or digital marketing products.
  • Proven success launching or optimizing loyalty programs, retention campaigns, or gamified experiences.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with A/B testing, segmentation, and performance metrics.
  • Proficiency with Agile development processes and backlog management tools (e.g., Jira).
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills; able to work across global, cross-functional teams.
