Volotea, the airline connecting small and mid-sized European cities, has signed an interline agreement with Air Caraïbes and French bee. This agreement will allow passengers traveling from Volotea’s European destinations to easily connect to Caribbean destinations such as Cancún, Santo Domingo, or Punta Cana, the French Caribbean, the United States, Quebec, French Polynesia, and Réunion Island via Paris-Orly, with a simplified and integrated travel experience.

EASIER ACCESS TO LONG-HAUL DESTINATIONS FROM EUROPE’S REGIONAL CAPITALS

As part of this interline agreement, starting August 6th, Air Caraïbes and French bee will sell Volotea flights to Paris-Orly on their websites and through travel agencies, combined with their own flights to the Caribbean, French Polynesia, Réunion, Canada, and the United States.

This collaboration offers travelers from Europe’s regional capitals direct and simplified access to long-haul destinations without the usual hassles of connections.

Passengers will benefit from a fully integrated service including:

  • single ticketcovering the entire journey
  • Direct baggage transferfrom departure to final destination, without having to collect luggage at Paris-Orly
  • Optimized connectionsthrough Paris-Orly Airport

A EUROPEAN NETWORK CONNECTED TO LONG-HAUL DESTINATIONS

The agreement includes all Volotea routes to Paris-Orly, enabling travelers to connect to long-haul destinations from eight cities in France and Italy: Lourdes, Rodez, Alghero, Ancona, Genoa, Olbia, Turin, and Verona.

These European cities are now connected to the Air Caraïbes and French bee networks serving Guadeloupe, Martinique, French Guiana, French Polynesia, Réunion Island, Saint Martin, Saint Barthélemy, the Bahamas, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, and Canada, as well as French bee’s routes to the United States (Miami, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Newark).

Tickets for these connections will be available starting August 6th on the Air Caraïbes and French bee websites, as well as through partner travel agencies, making it easy for Volotea passengers to plan trips to long-haul destinations.

This agreement will also help strengthen the appeal of the regions served, offering residents of the French overseas territories and North American travelers—who have strong ties to France and Europe—the opportunity to discover regions with significant tourism potential.

Volotea was founded in 2011 by Carlos Muñoz and Lázaro Ros, who previously founded Vueling. Air Caraïbes is a French airline specializing in routes between Paris-Orly and the French Caribbean and French Guiana. Founded in 2000, it currently employs 1,169 staff members and offers a regular flight program at competitive fares.
