GLOVistaJet, a prominent global business aviation company, has been recognized as the ‘Best of the Best’ in the aviation category for 2023 by Robb Report Hong Kong. Additionally, VistaJet secured the title of ‘Best AOC Charter Operator’ from the Asian Business Aviation Association (AsBAA) for the fifth consecutive year.
The annual ‘Best of the Best’ by Robb Report Hong Kong acknowledges outstanding brands, products, services, places, and experiences, emphasizing exceptional craftsmanship, design, and quality. AsBAA Icons of Aviation Awards, where the private aviation community casts votes, aims to commend best business practices.
As of September 2023, Vista’s total flight hours globally increased by more than 22%, encompassing its leading VistaJet and XO brands. The group’s robust growth extended to Asia, with an impressive 68% year-on-year growth rate in flight hours. The VistaJet Programme membership witnessed a global increase of over 40% and 16% in Asia year-on-year. Existing Members contributed to a 46% year-on-year growth in add-on hours for Vista and 13% in Asia, underscoring the sustained demand for private travel.
The surge in demand for ultra-long-range travel to and from Asia played a significant role in this expansion. Vista addressed this need through its Members’ fleet of over 360 aircraft, spanning all categories, including its flagship Global 7500—the world’s largest and longest-range business jet, capable of flying nonstop for 17 hours.
It’s noteworthy that the AsBAA Icons of Aviation Awards were last held in 2019, with the event paused from 2020 to 2022 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
