GLOVirtual card provider Conferma is collaborating with digital corporate card issuer Pliant to issue virtual cards via Pliant’s app. Founded in 2020, Pliant enables companies to issue both physical and virtual cards, track spending, and integrate these cards into their financial systems through app and API-based solutions. By allowing Conferma to generate virtual cards through its app, Pliant will enhance virtual access for travel management companies and online travel agents across Europe, facilitating seamless connections and payments for corporate clients. “The partnership builds on the existing investment into our platform that allows us to connect more businesses to enable commerce,” stated Sonya Geelon, Conferma’s chief commercial officer. Among Pliant’s services is Pliant Earth, which offers automatic carbon emission tracking for travel-related payments, helping companies offset their emissions.
