Vietjet is set to expand its global network by launching five new international routes from Vietnam to Australia, South Korea, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.

The airline has confirmed its plans to enhance its Vietnam-Australia flight network by introducing two new services connecting Ho Chi Minh City to Perth and Adelaide. These five weekly flights are scheduled to commence on November 21, 2023. This expansion makes Vietjet the first Vietnamese airline to operate flights to Australia’s five largest cities: Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, and Adelaide.

In addition to these Australian routes, Vietjet will also introduce a route from Hanoi to Hong Kong, starting from December 22, 2023. Daily flights will depart from Hanoi at 0855, arriving in Hong Kong at 1150, and the return flight from Hong Kong to Hanoi will take off at 1250, landing at 1350.

Phu Quoc, a rising star in Vietnamese tourism, will soon welcome two new Vietjet services connecting Phu Quoc to South Korea and Taiwan. The airline plans to operate the daily Phu Quoc to Busan route, starting on December 10, 2023. Flights will depart from Phu Quoc at 0115, landing in Busan at 0805. The return flight will depart from Busan at 0855 and arrive in Phu Quoc at 1240.

Furthermore, the Phu Quoc to Taipei direct service is scheduled to begin on January 17, 2024, with four weekly flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Departures from Phu Quoc will be at 0825, arriving in Taipei at 1300, and return flights will depart from Taipei at 1400, landing in Phu Quoc at 1650.

To celebrate the introduction of these new routes, Vietjet will offer a special promotion with ticket fares starting at just SGD 80/one-way (inclusive of tax and fees) for all international services. This promotion includes routes between Singapore and Hanoi/Da Nang/Ho Chi Minh City and other routes connecting via Vietnam. Travelers can book these promotional tickets from now until October 10, 2023, with travel available for up to one year until October 31, 2024 (excluding public holidays and peak seasons).
