Turkish Airlines’ CEO, Bilal Ekşi, expressed the airline’s commitment to the Asian market, highlighting ongoing efforts to expand its presence in this significant continent. He emphasized the relevance of such endeavors in the current aviation landscape, marked by a shift from West to East. Ekşi expressed optimism about the collaboration, anticipating mutual benefits for both countries and their respective flag carriers.

The partnership’s primary focus will be on enhancing air cargo operations for both airlines, with plans to explore various commercial dimensions in the near future.

Established in 1933 with a modest fleet of five aircraft, Turkish Airlines, a member of the Star Alliance, has grown to operate a fleet of 437 aircraft (passenger and cargo). The airline serves 345 destinations worldwide, comprising 292 international and 53 domestic destinations in 129 countries.
