Turkish Airlines has entered a new codeshare agreement with Air Montenegro, expanding air links between Türkiye and Montenegro and widening choice for travellers.
As part of the deal, Turkish Airlines will add its code to Air Montenegro flights on the Istanbul–Tivat and Istanbul–Podgorica routes, strengthening connections via Istanbul, one of the world’s major aviation hubs. In turn, Air Montenegro will place its code on services between the two countries as well as selected Turkish Airlines flights to Dubai and Baku.
The partnership blends Air Montenegro’s Balkan network with Turkish Airlines’ vast global reach, opening up new possibilities for both leisure and business travel.
Turkish Airlines CEO Bilal Ekşi highlighted Istanbul’s role as a bridge between continents, noting that the cooperation is set to stimulate passenger traffic while supporting tourism and trade. Air Montenegro CEO Vukadin Stojanović said the agreement marks a key step in boosting Montenegro’s international connectivity and improving travel flexibility and quality.
The codeshare is expected to drive passenger growth and support sustainable air traffic development between the two countries.
