Singapore Airlines and Scoot launched campaign to offer 420,000 cheap tickets competing head to head with Hong Kong’s Cathay

Singapore Airlines (SIA) is bringing back its popular "Time To Fly" travel fair in October 2024, offering discounts on more than 200,000 round-trip Business Class, Premium Economy Class, and Economy Class tickets from Singapore to 78 destinations worldwide.

Singapore Airlines (SIA) is bringing back its popular “Time To Fly” travel fair in October 2024, offering discounts on more than 200,000 round-trip Business Class, Premium Economy Class, and Economy Class tickets from Singapore to 78 destinations worldwide.

Scoot, SIA’s low-cost subsidiary, will also provide discounts on 220,000 ScootPlus and Economy Class one-way tickets to 57 destinations across its network during the event.

Highlighted offers include discounted flights to SIA’s new destinations, Brussels and London Gatwick, as well as upcoming routes to Beijing’s Daxing International Airport. Scoot’s deals span the Asia Pacific region and Europe, with new destinations like Kertajati (Greater Bandung), Koh Samui, and Malacca.

These discounts apply to SIA flights for travel between January and September 2025, and Scoot flights from November 2024 to October 2025, subject to specific terms and conditions.

The online sale will run from 25 October to 7 November 2024 on the SIA and Scoot websites, mobile apps, and via selected travel agents. Additionally, a physical travel fair will be held from 25 to 27 October 2024 at Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre, offering discounted tickets and exclusive travel deals from participating agents and partners.

Lee Lik Hsin, Chief Commercial Officer of Singapore Airlines, stated: “Our annual Time To Fly fair has become a key event for Singapore-based customers. This year’s edition is the largest yet, featuring over 200,000 round-trip tickets from Singapore Airlines and 220,000 one-way tickets from Scoot, emphasizing our dedication to delivering attractive flight options and value for 2025 travel planning.”

The fair will also include activities and giveaways, including a grand prize of three pairs of SIA Business Class round-trip tickets with hotel stays in Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Istanbul. Other prizes include Business Class tickets and hotel stays in Bangkok, Male, and Phuket, as well as Scoot vouchers worth up to $5,000.

The top Kris+ spender at the fair will win a four-day, three-night Maldives trip, and KrisShop will offer exclusive merchandise, including limited-edition figurines with a mystery character.
