Since entering the UK market two years ago, Sephora has quickly gained traction, celebrating its third UK location in Manchester earlier this year. The retail giant has seen significant growth across its website and app and plans to open two new stores this autumn in Newcastle’s Metro Centre and Eldon Square.
Sephora’s dedication to offering exceptional brands and superior customer experiences has driven its success in the UK. This has led to the introduction of a clear points-based system to better serve its expanding customer base.
“As we enter the next phase of our business, our focus remains on our loyal customers who have been essential to our success. We are thrilled to announce the expansion of our customer loyalty program, highlighting our commitment to providing unmatched rewards and experiences,” said Sarah Boyd, managing director of Sephora UK.
The new points earning system offers rewarding experiences and exclusive benefits through a three-tier program: gold, silver, and bronze, accessible via desktop, mobile, and the Sephora UK app. MySephora will reward both spending and customer engagement, allowing customers to earn points through activities such as attending in-store services and reviewing products.
MySephora members can exchange their accumulated points for products from a curated selection of top brands like Sol De Janeiro, Elemis, Fenty Beauty, Gisou, and Sephora’s own collection. The reward catalog provides exclusive products for customers at each tier.
Additional perks for MySephora members include deluxe birthday gifts, enhanced delivery options, and early access to brand events and sales. Gold members receive deluxe rewards, free next-day delivery, and exclusive early access to MySephora Sales.
Loyalty members also have the option to donate to Sephora’s charity partner, Face Equality International, supporting inclusivity and diversity. Members can redeem the charity donation in-store or online without making a purchase.
Existing customers will be seamlessly migrated to the new MySephora program, retaining their unused rewards. For instance, if customers have a £5 voucher in their account, they can still redeem it. Additionally, existing customers will receive a bonus of 25 points on the launch day as a welcome gift.
