Singapore AirlinesScoot, the low-cost subsidiary of Singapore Airlines, has unveiled a new booking platform powered by travel technology provider Dohop. The launch marks a significant step in enhancing the airline’s international reach, giving travellers more options and flexibility when planning multi-airline journeys.
The virtual interline platform allows customers to search for flights directly on Scoot’s website and then seamlessly complete bookings through a Dohop-powered interface. This approach opens up convenient “self-connect” itineraries, where travellers can combine Scoot services with those of partner airlines in a single booking journey.
At launch, easyJet and Citilink have been confirmed as Scoot’s first interline partners. The collaboration instantly extends Scoot’s footprint to more than 30 new destinations across Europe and Indonesia, adding to its existing network of 70 international routes. Passengers will now be able to book journeys such as Singapore to Milan, Paris or Geneva via Scoot and easyJet, or connect to Indonesian cities like Kendari, Solo and Ambon through Citilink.
To further strengthen the proposition, every booking made through the new platform includes ConnectSure protection. This service provides reassurance for customers in cases of missed connections due to delays or cancellations, adding an extra layer of confidence to the self-connect model.
Commenting on the launch, Calvin Chan, Scoot’s Chief Commercial Officer, described the initiative as “an exciting step forward,” highlighting how the partnership with Dohop enhances the airline’s value offering by giving customers access to a wider network of destinations. Sarah Hanan, Dohop’s Chief Commercial Officer, noted that the move reflects a growing industry shift towards more flexible, passenger-centric connectivity, enabled by technology.
By embracing Dohop’s agile interline solution, Scoot is able to expand its network quickly without the need for traditional codeshare agreements or complex alliances. For travellers, the result is a more seamless booking experience and greater choice of destinations—all while retaining Scoot’s reputation for affordable, value-driven air travel.
The collaboration positions Scoot as one of the early adopters in Asia-Pacific to embrace this new form of interline connectivity, underscoring its commitment to innovation and customer convenience in a competitive low-cost travel market.
