Earlier in the year, Sabre became the first company to use Google and Travalyst’s Travel Impact Model to measure its business travel Scope 3 emissions. This methodology provided insights into its 2023 environmental footprint, reinforcing Sabre’s dedication to sustainability.
CEO and President Kurt Ekert highlighted the firm’s progress in 2023, with the Travel Positive strategy guiding efforts across three pillars: People, Planet, and Prosperity. The report emphasizes key partnerships, such as its involvement with the Travalyst coalition, and technological advancements that integrate sustainability into core products. Sabre’s commitment to Prosperity is reflected in these collaborations, designed to foster a more sustainable travel industry.
