Roche Bros. Supermarkets, the Massachusetts-based grocery chain, has rolled out its first customer loyalty program, Neighbor Rewards. The move marks a significant step for the family-run grocer as it looks to strengthen customer engagement in an increasingly competitive grocery market.

The new program is fully digital, allowing customers to sign up at no cost via the Roche Bros. app or website. Members gain access to a dedicated “Savings Center,” featuring personalized digital coupons and weekly offers, redeemable both in-store and online by providing a phone number at checkout. The program also enables members to track past purchases, build favourites lists, and chat directly with personal shoppers to simplify the shopping experience.

To celebrate the launch, Roche Bros. has introduced the Neighbor Rewards Grocery Grab Sweepstakes. Shoppers who register before 25 September are entered into a draw across three stores, with winners set to take part in timed shopping sprees this October. Additional finalists will receive Roche Bros. gift cards, ensuring broader participation beyond the grand prize.

According to Tristen Kendall-Barros, Vice President of Marketing at Roche Bros., the initiative is designed not only to thank loyal customers but also to deliver a modern, community-focused approach to rewards.

With Neighbor Rewards, Roche Bros. joins a wave of regional grocers investing in loyalty to boost retention, personalise savings, and bring added value to their customers’ weekly shop.
