She is set to leave her role in February to “pursue other opportunities.” This decision comes a week after the retailer Myer nominated her to join its board of directors. Olivia Wirth has been with Qantas for the past 14 years and has been the CEO of Qantas Loyalty, which includes the frequent flyer program, since 2018. Qantas Chief Vanessa Hudson praised Wirth’s significant contributions to the company, especially during the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. Olivia Wirth expressed her gratitude for her time at Qantas and mentioned that she looks forward to delivering more improvements for members before her departure.
