Qantas Frequent Flyers can fast-track their status or boost their points balance with the return of the popular Double Status Credits or Qantas Points offer which launched March 12.

For the next seven days (until 11.59pm 18 March 2025), members who book any Qantas operated flight across the airline’s entire regional, domestic, or international network can choose to earn either double Status Credits or Qantas Points. Plus, for the first time, members can also earn double points on Qantas Hotel and Holiday bookings made during the same period.

Members can register for the offer via the Qantas App and make unlimited bookings from 12 March to 18 March for travel between 19 March 2025 and 24 February 2026.

Double Status Credits help frequent flyers climb the Qantas status tiers faster (Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Platinum One), unlocking travel benefits including access to over 650 Qantas and partner lounges, priority check-in and boarding and additional baggage allowances.

Double Qantas Points can be used by frequent flyers to boost their points balance and book reward seats, request flight upgrades, book hotel stays or make purchases on the Qantas Marketplace or through Ticketek.

Qantas Loyalty CEO Andrew Glance said the offer is one of the most anticipated on the calendar, allowing members to unlock double rewards and pre-plan their travel for the year ahead.

“Hundreds of thousands of members benefited from this offer last year, helping members to attain or retain their frequent flyer status or boost their points balance. This year we’re also introducing double points on Qantas Hotel and Holidays bookings, making that next dream trip even more rewarding.

“Across the program more broadly, we’re seeing record numbers of members using points for flights, especially to destinations like Tokyo, Singapore, Queenstown, and Bali. 13,000 Classic Reward seats are booked on average every single day and this offer is a key part of ensuring that momentum continues.”

During the most recent offer, one-third of participating members opted for double points, and two-thirds chose double Status Credits. One frequent flyer booked 51 flights, earning enough bonus Status Credits to jump from Bronze to Platinum One status almost four times over.

By choosing double status credits, a member could move from Bronze to Gold by booking two return flights from Melbourne to Los Angeles in Premium Economy, or one return flight from Melbourne to London in Flexible Economy and one return flight from Melbourne to Perth in Flexible Economy.

Qantas Business Rewards members can also register separately for Double Points for their business and use Qantas Points to save on future business travel.
