The program is designed to engage passionate pickleball players from key U.S. cities to promote the sport, foster community engagement, and build excitement around the rapidly growing pickleball movement.

The Pickleball in the Sun Ambassador Program offers a unique opportunity for players in 11 major cities to represent the brand, connect with their local pickleball communities, and receive high-quality pickleball gear from top industry brands. Ambassadors will receive a curated kit that includes an exclusive custom Pickleball in the Sun Ambassador paddle from Ivy Cut, JOOLA pickleball paddle, Franklin pickleballs, exclusive apparel by Kitch, OS1st pickleball socks, a subscription to Pickleball Magazine, gear from Trelle, and more, while having opportunities to engage with fellow players and share their passion for the sport nationwide.

Key Features of the Ambassador Program

  • Curated Kit: Ambassadors will receive a premium selection of gear, including top-tier paddles, pickleballs, socks, bags, apparel, and exclusive Pickleball in the Sun merchandise, to help foster their participation in the pickleball community.
  • Engagement Opportunities: Ambassadors will have the chance to participate in challenges and events designed to promote pickleball in their local communities. This includes the Pickleball in the Sun Passport, a gamified challenge booklet that encourages ambassadors to play at unique courts, organize local events, and connect with others to grow the sport.
  • Community Engagement: Ambassadors will host or participate in at least one local event every three months, providing an opportunity to engage with their communities and bring people together through pickleball.

Key Cities & Ambassador Selection Criteria
The Pickleball in the Sun Ambassador Program will select one ambassador from each of the following cities, known for their growing pickleball communities: Austin, TX; Tampa, FL; Phoenix, AZ; Jacksonville, FL; Los Angeles, CA; Charlotte, NC; Seattle, WA; Atlanta, GA; Chicago, IL; Miami, FL; New York, NY.

Ambassadors will be chosen based on their enthusiasm for pickleball, social media engagement, and ability to inspire and engage with local communities. The program will launch on April 1, 2025, with an application deadline of April 30, 2025. Selected ambassadors will be announced in May 2025.

In Fall 2025, Pickleball in the Sun plans to host a national ambassador event in Florida, where ambassadors will have the opportunity to meet in person, engage in workshops, and strengthen the community of pickleball players nationwide. This event will serve as a celebration of the ambassador program and provide an opportunity to foster connections across the country.
