The market research company Service Value, in cooperation with the BILD newspaper, conducted an extensive customer survey to determine that PAYBACK is the clear leader in the “bonus systems” category.

Germany’s largest and most popular bonus program PAYBACK once again receives the “Customer King for Companies with the Highest Customer Benefit” award. The market research company Service Value, in cooperation with the BILD newspaper, conducted an extensive customer survey to determine that PAYBACK is the clear leader in the “bonus systems” category. A total of over 445,000 consumer opinions on more than 2,000 companies were collected for the study. Among the winners in other categories were PAYBACK partners OTTO and LINDA pharmacies. 

“The ‘Customer King’ is an award that makes us very happy. It confirms our mission to provide customers with the right offer at the right time via the right channel. As a result, they collect a lot of points with many companies when they shop and save a considerable amount each year,” says Florian Wolfframm, member of the PAYBACK Management Board and VP Retail Sales & Marketing. 

The study is based on a 5-level approval scale in which consumers are asked about expected and actual benefits before and after using services and products. The “high customer benefit” rating is awarded to all companies that perform better than the overall average across all market competitors within their sector. Companies that are above the average within this group receive the “Very high customer benefit” rating. The “Highest customer benefit” award is only given to companies that achieve the best rating in their sector. The survey is carried out without the involvement of the assessed companies.
