Omni Hotels & ResortsOmni Hotels & Resorts has unveiled updates to its Select Guest Loyalty Program, marking the most significant transformation in a decade. This enhancement aims to streamline the process of achieving and retaining Select Guest Status, focusing on recognizing and rewarding members for their overall experiences during their stays.
The reimagined program emphasizes Omni Hotels & Resorts’ belief in the importance of experiences and encourages guests to explore different destinations and on-property activities more frequently. Members will continue to earn rewards for each night stayed, and now, they will also accumulate rewards for on-property activities such as dining, golf, spa visits, and any room charges. Additionally, members can expedite their status tier based on their total spend.
Josh Belkin, Vice President of Loyalty & Customer Engagement at Omni Hotels & Resorts, highlights the company’s commitment to enhancing the member experience amid a landscape where many loyalty programs are reducing benefits. The changes align with the goal of inspiring both existing and new guests to engage more deeply with the diverse offerings across the 50+ properties.
Starting in 2024, Omni will introduce updated tier names and structure, progressing from Member to Insider to Champion to Icon Status. Select Guest Status will be determined by on-property spend within each calendar year. The new program enables members to attain higher status levels after just one stay, with Insider Status requiring only $1,000 of spend during the stay.
The program introduces Omni Credits as rewards, earned for every night stayed and for purchases beyond the room. Members can redeem a free night reward for the same 100 Omni Credits at any of the 50+ properties.
Despite these changes, Omni retains popular benefits from the current program, such as free night rewards, exclusive access to on-property Loyalty Ambassadors, complimentary amenities like Wi-Fi and beverages, and unique in-stay benefits. The achieved Status tier by members at the end of 2023 will be honored throughout 2024, and existing award credits remain unchanged in terms of spending power.
