Aeromexico and Delta are continuing to strengthen their network between the United States and Mexico. Starting March 30, 2025, Aeromexico will operate a new daily flight connecting Mexico City International Airport (MEX) to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX).

Starting March 30, 2025, Aeromexico will operate a new daily flight connecting Mexico City International Airport (MEX) to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX). This new route will offer over 2,300 round-trip seats weekly, with the following itinerary:
- Mexico City (MEX) to Phoenix (PHX):** Departs at 09:55, arrives at 12:25
- Phoenix (PHX) to Mexico City (MEX):** Departs at 13:51, arrives at 18:00
Phoenix, Arizona, is an important hub for both business and leisure travelers. Passengers flying to Mexico City will also benefit from Aeromexico’s extensive domestic network, offering connections to 55 routes across Mexico.
“This partnership reinforces Aeromexico and Delta’s position as the top airlines for connectivity between the United States and Mexico. By the end of 2024, we will operate 80 routes together with more than 135 daily flights. We are thrilled to add Phoenix to our expanding network, a city with strong business and leisure appeal,” said Jeff Morgan, Aeromexico’s Senior Vice President of Network Planning and Scheduling.

Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego also commented, “We are excited to welcome Aeromexico back to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. The demand for flights to Mexico from Phoenix has increased by 155% since before the pandemic. This nonstop service to Mexico City will enhance travel options and strengthen tourism and trade between our regions.”
Known as the Valley of the Sun, Phoenix offers sunny weather year-round and a variety of tourist attractions, from adventure and culture to luxury experiences such as vineyards, golf courses, and world-class spas. Its proximity to the Grand Canyon National Park adds to its appeal.
The route will be operated using Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, known for offering greater comfort, including more legroom, larger overhead bins, and high-speed Wi-Fi.
This new service is part of the Aeromexico-Delta alliance, which has launched 28 new routes this year, enhancing connectivity between key cities in Mexico and the United States while maintaining a consistent and reliable customer experience.
