Incheon International’s free transit tour program is a great way for travelers to explore the diverse attractions of Seoul and Incheon area while they wait for their next flight.
Tour Offerings
The Transit Tour program enables customers on layover to experience the best of Korea and make unforgettable memories. Whether interested in viewing historical sites, traditional culture, dining or shopping, there are plenty of options to choose from, including:
1. Gu-eup Ferry Terminal, Wolmi Park: Take a ferry to Wolmido to enjoy the beauty of the Korean coastline while feeding the seagulls. Located in the heart of Incheon’s Old Town, Wolmi Park offers a peaceful retreat with stunning coastal views and lush greenery.
2. Seoul Botanic Park: With a square footage of 70 football fields combined, the Seoul Botanic Park showcases native plants and horticulture from 12 cities worldwide.
3. Blue House (Cheong Wa Dae), Gwangjang Market: Once utilized as the office and residence of former presidents, the Blue House is now fully open to the public and operates as an art gallery and history museum. At Gwangjang Market, travelers can enjoy a wide variety of food and handcrafts, as well as distinctive traditional foods.
4. Gyeongbokgung Palace, Insadong: Experience Korea’s ancient culture at Gyeongbokgung Palace — the first royal palace of the Joseon Dynasty — and Insadong, a vibrant area filled with galleries, traditional craft shops, antique stores, traditional tea houses, restaurants and cafes.

Tour Information
The Incheon Airport Transit tour is a complimentary sightseeing program for travelers with a layover of 4 to 24 hours at ICN, enabling them to explore popular Korean tourist sites on a round-trip tour bus with a professional guide. Travelers with layovers exceeding 24 hours cannot join the tour.
Travelers can participate in the Transit tour without a visa if they meet any of the following requirements:
- Travelers from visa-free countries
- Travelers transiting through a third country who hold a visa (including permanent residency) from the U.S. (including Guam and Saipan), Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or any of the 32 European countries
- Foreign nationals transiting through ICN who wish to participate in the Transit tour program
Tour Registration
Interested travelers wishing to join the Transit tour can make a reservation in advance through the ICN Transit tour reservation website. Travelers can also register at the Transit tour registration desk on the first floor, the information desks on the second and third floors of Terminal 1 or in Terminal 2 at the Transit tour registration desk on the first floor and information desks on the second and fourth floors.
All Transit tour travelers — including those booked online — must arrive at the registration desk on the first floor of the respective terminal at least 30 minutes before the tour with all the necessary documents.
If travelers miss the reservation, they can join the waiting list.
