Korean AirKorean Air has secured a five-star global airline ranking in the latest APEX Official Airline Ratings, marking its seventh consecutive year holding this prestigious accolade. Among a select group of airlines, Korean Air has attained this top-tier recognition.
APEX, headquartered in New York, is a non-profit organization comprising 482 members from the airline industry, encompassing airlines and aircraft manufacturers. Since 2018, APEX has implemented an airline rating system based on passenger input gathered through the “TripIt” mobile application.
By collecting feedback from over 1 million flights across 600 airlines globally, APEX assesses various aspects such as seat comfort, cabin service, in-flight meals, and entertainment. An external professional auditing company certifies the APEX Official Airline Ratings, derived from this extensive passenger feedback.
Maintaining its esteemed five-star status since 2018, Korean Air joins a small group of leading global airlines, including Air New Zealand, Cathay Pacific Airways, and Etihad Airways, in consistently upholding this distinguished ranking.
