Jetstar is expanding its Gold Coast international network with new flights to Bali (Denpasar) set to take off from 1 August 2025.

The new service makes Jetstar the first low-cost carrier to offer direct flights between the Gold Coast and Bali, making it easier and more affordable than ever for Gold Coast locals to get there.

With three flights per week, the new route will add more than 58,000 low fare seats for travellers each year. The airline will base two of the newest aircraft in its fleet, the Airbus A320neo on the Gold Coast to operate the flights.

With the introduction of this new route, Jetstar continues to be the biggest carrier to and from the Gold Coast. Another three new Jetstar routes will take off in June to Hamilton and Dunedin in New Zealand, and Darwin.

“We are thrilled to provide our customers with a low-cost connection between the Gold Coast and Bali, making it more affordable and convenient for travellers to reach the Indonesian holiday island.

“Bali has always been Jetstar’s most popular international destination and it’s not hard to see why with its beautiful beaches and resorts, delicious food, friendly locals, affordability, and proximity to Australia.”

Queensland Airports Limited CEO, Amelia Evans, said the additional flights would provide customers with more choice.

“Bali is a popular holiday choice for locals, with more than 130,000 passengers travelling between the two destinations in the past two years.

“This is a huge win for our region, making Bali more accessible and providing more options for locals looking to book their next getaway!”
