GLOAccording to Business Travel News, IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a memorandum of understanding with Emirates Airlines to develop joint offerings targeted at small and midsized enterprises (SMEs). While details remain limited, the companies said they plan to “explore ways to reach and engage with SMEs through value-added benefits and exclusive rewards designed to support business travel.”
Earlier this year, IHG formed a similar partnership with Singapore Airlines, giving corporate members of its business loyalty program the opportunity to access IHG Business Edge, the hotel group’s dedicated discount and perks program for SMEs.
