Emirates launches regional VIP private charter service offering flexibility and comfort for short trips

Emirates has launched an on-demand regional charter service, offering flexibility, convenience, privacy and comfort for customers who want to make short trips in the GCC from Dubai’s Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC). Operated by the airline’s Phenom 100 twin-engine aircraft, customers can fly to a wide range of GCC destinations both within and outside of the Emirates network, with quick turnarounds to points in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman and within the UAE*.

Air France KLM launches new summer flavours in La Première and Business classes

From July to October 2023, Air France is continuing to promote fine French dining with a new series of original dishes. On departure from Paris, in the long-haul La Première and Business cabins, the renowned French Michelin-starred chefs Régis Marcon and, for the first time, Thierry Marx, will be working alongside the Meilleur Ouvrier de France pastry chef Philippe Urraca to create delicious dishes for the airline’s customers.

Lounge access and upgrades perceived as top benefits in APAC Airline Loyalty Survey

IBS Software, a global leader of SaaS solutions to the travel industry, today reveals the results of a survey of 1500 air passengers based in Hong KongSingapore or United Arab Emirates (UAE). The majority (63%) of respondents, which included both leisure and business travellers, are members of an airline loyalty program and nearly 80% also choose to be part of schemes at supermarkets (44%), clothing brands (36%), and restaurants (33%).

Air Miles has announced a partnership with Dollarama, starting on August 7, that will enable customers to collect Air Miles at over 1,500 Dollarama locations across Canada. Vistara announced that it has achieved a significant milestone of flying 50 million passengers since its establishment and celebrated this achievement in a grand manner. The airline’s celebration campaign, titled #50MillionFeelings, aimed to honor the various emotions it has evoked in its customers throughout the years. Hotels.com, Jet2holidays, and Hoseasons have been recognized for their exceptional customer service in the UK Customer Satisfaction Index (UKCSI) survey. Hotels.com achieved a customer satisfaction score of 84.7, ranking joint fourth out of more than 280 brands. Compared to the previous year, the company improved its score by 2.6 points. Jet2holidays followed closely in joint seventh place with a score of 84.5, showing an increase of 0.8 points. Hoseasons secured the 12th position in the rankings.

ComfortDelGro and FairPrice to link loyalty programmes in new partnership

ComfortDelGro (CDG) and FairPrice Group have announced a collaboration to link their rewards programs, allowing customers to consolidate their spending on daily essentials and access tiered benefits. CDG’s private mobility group and FairPrice’s NTUC Link have signed a memorandum of understanding to facilitate this partnership. Initially, the focus will be on offering loyalty benefits, but there are plans to provide joint door-to-door experiences related to transport and daily essentials in the future, according to CDG Zig CEO Stephen Chow.
