About the job

Job Description At Fanatics Commerce, we’re more than just a leader in licensed sports merchandise – we’re a team united by a relentless passion for our fans and a commitment to innovation. We live by our BOLD Leadership principles: We Build Championship Teams, we’re Obsessed with Fans, we embrace a Limitless Entrepreneurial Spirit, and we approach every challenge with a Determined and Relentless Mindset. If you’re ready to contribute to a dynamic, fast-paced environment that thrives on collaboration and growth, we want you to be part of our team.

Role Overview As the Gift Card Manager at Fanatics International, you will be the end-to-end owner of our EMEA gift card program. This is a pivotal role sitting at the intersection of eCommerce, Marketing, and B2B Sales. You will be responsible for driving revenue across three primary pillars: D2C Digital, D2C Physical, and B2B Bulk/Corporate Sales/B2B Physical.

Your mission is to elevate the Fanatics gift card from a simple payment method to a core strategic growth lever, enhancing the fan experience while maximizing profitability across our international portfolio of sports partners (including PSG, Chelsea, Formula 1, NFL, NBA, and more).

How You Will Make An Impact

  • D2C Digital & Physical Strategy
  • Product Lifecycle: Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of both digital (e-gift) and physical gift cards across all international Fanatics-operated webstores.
  • Merchandising: Work with the UX and E-commerce teams to optimize the “Gift Card” landing pages, ensuring a seamless purchase flow and prominent visibility during peak gifting periods.
  • Innovation: Drive the roadmap for “Personalized Gifting,” including video messaging, custom designs, and integration with digital wallets.
  • B2B & Corporate Sales
  • Partnership Management: Identify and secure new B2B opportunities, including corporate incentive programs, employee reward platforms and loyalty schemes.
  • Third-Party Distribution: Manage relationships with external gift card malls and processors (e.g., Blackhawk Network, InComm) to place Fanatics gift cards in physical retail and digital marketplaces globally.
  • Bulk Fulfillment: Oversee the process for high-volume corporate orders, ensuring secure delivery and accurate invoicing.
  • Operations & Financial Management
  • P&L Ownership: Manage the budget for the gift card category, tracking key metrics such as activation rates, redemption rates (breakage), Redemption Upsell and Cost per Acquisition (CPA).
  • Inventory Management: For physical cards, oversee production, stock levels, and distribution logistics to ensure zero “out-of-stock” scenarios.
  • Fraud & Compliance: Partner with the Finance and Risk teams to monitor for fraudulent activity and ensure compliance with regional financial regulations (e.g., AML, expiration date laws) across international territories.
  • Marketing & Promotion
  • Campaign Integration: Collaborate with the CRM, Performance Marketing and Partnerships teams to include gift cards in multi-channel campaigns.
  • Promotional Strategy: Design and execute “Load & Get” promotions (e.g., Buy a £50 card, get a £10 bonus) to drive cash flow and customer acquisition.
  • Experience: 4+ years in Gift Card Management, Payments, or Loyalty Marketing, preferably within a high-growth E-commerce or Retail environment.
  • B2B Prowess: Proven track record of negotiating and closing deals with corporate reward partners or third-party distributors.
  • Analytical Mindset: Comfortable using data to track performance, forecast breakage, and report on ROI.
  • Global Outlook: Experience managing multi-currency and multi-language programs is a significant plus.
  • Sports Passion: A genuine interest in the sports industry and an understanding of the fan mindset.
