From 1 May 2026, Condor will introduce daily flights between Frankfurt and Abu Dhabi using Airbus A330 aircraft. This will be followed by the launch of daily Berlin–Abu Dhabi services from 15 June 2026, operated by Airbus A320 aircraft. These new routes will significantly enhance direct access between Germany and the UAE capital, offering seamless onward connections via Etihad’s global network spanning the Middle East, Asia, Africa and Australia.

Arik De, Chief Revenue and Commercial Officer at Etihad Airways, said the partnership underscores the importance of Germany as a key market for the airline. He noted that the addition of Berlin alongside Frankfurt responds directly to strong customer demand and establishes a direct capital-to-capital connection, further strengthening ties between the UAE and Germany. He added that the partnership prioritises the passenger experience, with Condor customers gaining access to Etihad’s award-winning Abu Dhabi hub and global network, while Etihad customers benefit from expanded connectivity across Germany and beyond.

Jens Boyd, Commercial Director and Executive Committee Member at Condor, described the agreement as a cornerstone of Condor’s new Abu Dhabi services. He said the partnership enhances links from Germany’s political and financial centres to the Gulf region and beyond, and represents Condor’s first codeshare agreement in Asia. Boyd added that the collaboration supports Condor’s ambition to evolve into a truly global airline through partnerships with leading international carriers.

The new services will complement Etihad’s existing German operations while further strengthening Abu Dhabi’s position as a global aviation and tourism hub. Together, Etihad and Condor will offer customers access to more than 80 destinations across their combined networks, enhancing travel options between Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Africa.

As part of the agreement, Etihad Guest members will be able to earn and redeem miles on Condor-operated flights between Frankfurt or Berlin and Abu Dhabi. Additional loyalty programme benefits will be introduced as the partnership develops.

The codeshare arrangement is subject to regulatory approvals, with further details to be announced in due course. Tickets for the new services are now available for booking through both airlines’ websites.
