Delta, the official airline of the WNBA, teamed up with the league to elevate the stories of three of the WNBA’s star players –Nneka Ogwumike, Breanna Stewart and Cameron Brink – for a new originally produced content series, “Power Forward.”

Initially launched on Delta’s YouTube channel, the “Power Forward” series is now available to watch from the comfort of your Delta seat on one of Delta’s 168,000 seatback screens – the most of any U.S. airline.1

The series – which builds on Delta’s partnership with the WNBA and the airline’s commitment to empowering women in sports – gives viewers an inside look at each of the players’ basketball journeys as they take a look back on their basketball beginnings, discuss present-day hurdles in women’s sports, and envision the future as they strive to take the sport, the league and themselves to new heights.

“Our collaboration with the WNBA reflects Delta’s commitment to build followership through storytelling,” said Alicia Tillman, Delta’s Chief Marketing Officer. “These three women go beyond their roles as elite athletes — they are redefining what leadership looks like and opening doors for future generations, both on and off the court. Delta is honored to share their stories and inspire our customers and fans of the WNBA to keep climbing.”

The “Power Forward” content series includes three episodes containing archival footage, interviews with loved ones and influential childhood and career-defining moments for each player to reflect upon.

Delta recently premiered the series at an exclusive event in New York City, where The Female Quotient co-hosted a panel discussion led by Chiney Ogwumike, retired WNBA All-Star and ESPN Basketball Analyst, featuring Delta Athlete Ambassador and 3x WNBA Champion Breanna Stewart, WNBA Chief Growth Officer Colie Edison, and Delta’s Chief Marketing Officer Alicia Tillman. Together, the women explored how the series isn’t just about telling stories – but about changing the narrative and creating new pathways for the next generation of leaders.

Delta carries all 13 teams via charter throughout the regular season and playoffs. In the “Power Forward” series, Nneka Ogwumike shares her appreciation for Delta, expressing gratitude for the charter. “We’re able to prioritize our health and safety through a partner like Delta – being able to travel privately.”

Through this partnership, Delta is advancing travel equity in professional sports – ensuring that every WNBA team travels with comfort, consistency, and care. Whether in the skies or on the court, Delta is committed to elevating the player experience.
