Deliveroo launches invite only ‘Plus Diamond’ loyalty program

Members of Plus Diamond will enjoy priority delivery on all orders and a guarantee for on-time delivery, with the full order value credited back if it arrives more than 10 minutes late. They will also have direct access to a dedicated Diamond customer care team, an enhanced in-app experience to discover top selections, and receive 10% back in Deliveroo credit on orders over £30.

Deliveroo has introduced an exclusive subscription service called Plus Diamond. Members of Plus Diamond will enjoy priority delivery on all orders and a guarantee for on-time delivery, with the full order value credited back if it arrives more than 10 minutes late. They will also have direct access to a dedicated Diamond customer care team, an enhanced in-app experience to discover top selections, and receive 10% back in Deliveroo credit on orders over £30.

The premium service includes access to exclusive partners such as Vori, Lavo, IZAKAYA at Dreams, Min Jiang, Hedonism Wines, and The Black Farmer, with more partnerships to be announced soon.

Diamond members will also be invited to a range of food events, connecting food enthusiasts to unique experiences. Subscribers can access discounted tickets for table&candle and Sessions Live events, as well as exclusive Diamond Only events hosted by the experiences platform Sera, including an evening with chef John Javier and pasta-making classes with Pasta Evangelists.

Additionally, Deliveroo has enhanced benefits for Plus Gold members, offering 10% credit back on orders over £30, special discounts, offers, free items from local favorites, and the ability to claim £5 back as credit if orders arrive late.

Deliveroo, which pioneered the industry’s loyalty program in 2017, aims to transition to a Plus-first business by 2026, with most orders coming from Plus members. Plus members already spend three times more than regular customers, are twice as likely to try new restaurants, and often top up their orders with non-food items, making the enhanced loyalty program crucial for Deliveroo’s growth.

Abi Horner, Product Director of Loyalty at Deliveroo, stated: “We designed Plus Diamond to enhance the most important aspects for our frequent customers, including selection, speed, and care, delivering our best possible service. With priority delivery, a generous on-time promise, and a dedicated care team, Plus Diamond is the strongest service proposition in our industry.”

The Plus Diamond subscription is invite-only for top Deliveroo customers and costs £19.99 per month.
