DeliverooDeliveroo has become the first delivery platform to integrate Morrisons’ ‘More’ loyalty scheme, enabling customers to earn rewards on grocery orders placed through the app.
Seamless Integration for Enhanced Benefits
Customers can now link their Morrisons More account with their Deliveroo profile, allowing them to accumulate points on purchases made from Morrisons via the delivery service. For every item bought, shoppers will earn five More Points, consistent with the rewards offered in-store and on Morrisons.com. Once a customer amasses 5,000 points, they receive a ‘Morrisons Fiver’, redeemable on future purchases either in-store or online.
To facilitate this, users are prompted to enter their Morrisons More loyalty card number at checkout on Deliveroo. The system then saves this information for subsequent orders, streamlining the process for repeat customers.
Launch Promotion to Boost Engagement
To celebrate the launch, a promotional offer is in place: customers who spend £30 or more on Morrisons products through Deliveroo between March 31 and April 13 will earn an additional 500 More Points. This initiative aims to encourage users to take advantage of the new integration and reap the associated rewards.
Strengthening a Growing Partnership
Morrisons and Deliveroo first collaborated in 2020, a partnership that has since expanded to encompass nearly 400 supermarkets, over 500 convenience stores, and the introduction of Deliveroo HOP, a rapid on-demand grocery delivery service. Currently, the partnership offers access to approximately 15,000 products, with plans for further expansion in the near future.
Charlotte Exell, Director of Online at Morrisons, expressed enthusiasm about the integration, stating, “We’re delighted to provide more value and flexibility to our loyalty card holders by offering them More Points when they order from our supermarkets on Deliveroo. We want to help them benefit from their More Card wherever they shop with us.”
Suzy McClintock, VP of New Verticals at Deliveroo, added, “We are very excited to be the first delivery platform to roll out Morrisons More, ensuring our customers can access even more value and rewards on top of the great selection and convenience this partnership already provides.”
This integration signifies a significant step in enhancing customer experience, offering greater value and convenience to shoppers who utilize both Morrisons and Deliveroo services.
