Back in 1997, Mastercard launched what would become one of the most iconic campaigns in the world: “There are some things money can’t buy. For everything else, there’s Mastercard.”

From Global Moments to Local Magic

Back in 1997, Mastercard launched what would become one of the most iconic campaigns in the world: “There are some things money can’t buy. For everything else, there’s Mastercard.”
What started as a clever tagline turned into something much bigger — a platform that celebrates the things that really matter: connection, inspiration, unforgettable moments.

Over the past 25+ years, Priceless has gone from a global ad to a way of life — bringing people closer to their passions. From backstage passes to private concerts to once-in-a-lifetime culinary adventures, Mastercard has helped turn dreams into real-life memories. Today, the program is active in over 120 countries, and its spirit is stronger than ever.

Because some moments — big or small — truly are priceless.

Azerbaijan Joins the Priceless Journey

In October 2024, Azerbaijan became part of this global story. The first Priceless experience in Baku was more than just an event — it was a warm welcome into a world of creativity, discovery, and shared experiences. The evening was all about connection — between people, culture, and purpose.

Then came a very special night dedicated to Vagif Mustafazadeh, one of Azerbaijan’s most iconic musicians. The tribute event was full of jazz, soul, and pride — a perfect example of how Priceless moments can celebrate both heritage and the present.

What’s Next: Upcoming Priceless Moments in Azerbaijan

As the platform gains momentum in Azerbaijan, Mastercard is expanding its Priceless offerings with a bold lineup of immersive events and customer experiences this summer:

1. Justin Timberlake Concert Giveaway & Stadium Experiences / Baku Olympic Stadium , July 27

An exclusive Instagram contest has been held, where 20 lucky Mastercard users won 2 tickets each to the Justin Timberlake concert in Baku. But the experience doesn’t stop there — Mastercard brings Priceless to life inside the venue with 3 immersive activations:

  • VR Journey to Cappadocia
A virtual adventure simulating a hot air balloon flight over Turkey’s most iconic landscape — directly at the stadium, complete with themed setup and VR headsets.
  • “Guess the Lyrics” Interactive Game
Music lovers test their pop knowledge for fun and prizes — all in a sound-controlled game zone.
  • “Who’s the Bigger Fan?” Challenge
A touchscreen quiz to crown the ultimate JT fan. Bragging rights and fun giveaways await.

2. Upcoming Meet & Greet with Musa Gurbanlı + Football Fun / August 2025

Mastercard is proud to support local talent with an exciting upcoming Meet & Greet featuring Musa Gurbanlı, one of Azerbaijan’s brightest football stars. Hosted by GoalPlus, the event will give fans a unique chance to meet and interact with the athlete. Additionally, a Mastercard chatbot promo code will offer a 20% discount on tickets purchased through the GoalPluswebsite.

To add to the excitement, a Mastercard-branded maze game will invite two players at a time to guide digital balls through a challenging labyrinth using their phones. The fastest player to navigate the maze will be crowned the winner. With Mastercard-themed colors and on-site staff providing support, this experience is set to be both interactive and unforgettable.

Why It Matters

Mastercard’s Priceless is more than perks and giveaways. It’s about creating moments that stay with you. And in Azerbaijan, the journey is just getting started.

Because when we look back at what truly matters, it’s rarely the things we bought — it’s the people we met, the emotions we felt, the stories we told. And that’s what Mastercard is here to create: more of those priceless lasting memories.
