GLOBritish Airways is preparing for a busy summer and has made improvements to the catering service on its short-haul Euroflyer flights departing from London Gatwick (LGW). Passengers can now purchase fresh food on the day of their flight instead of having to pre-order meals. This initiative also includes a more flexible and extensive menu, with new buy-onboard options such as falafel wraps and coronation chicken sandwiches created by Michelin-starred chef and BA partner Tom Kerridge. Euroflyer’s CEO, Tom Stoddart, stated that they are happy to offer customers the option to order fresh food during the flight as well as pre-purchasing items.
