Job Description

Under the direction of the Director of Marketing Operations, this position is responsible for the planning, development and execution of full-lifecycle marketing plans consisting of multi-touch, multi-channel programs, including both inbound and outbound tactics. This high-profile role strategizes, creates, manages, executes, and optimizes integrated marketing programs enabled by Bank of Hawaii’s marketing platform. Organizes and drives groups toward common goals in a productive way, and engages with executives and individual contributors. Ensures business unit’s compliance with applicable laws, regulations, regulatory requirements and Bank policies and procedures, including but not limited to those related to Fair Banking, Anti-Money Laundering laws and regulations, Bank Secrecy Act and USA PATRIOT Act.

Responsibilities

  • Crafts and enhances the marketing strategy for moving customers through the customer journey. The multi-touch strategy integrates channels such as: email, direct channels, social media, web, mobile, and more to engage target prospects and customers, and coordinates activity across multiple channels, including marketing automation, digital and sales. Documents the lifecycle journeys, audience manifesto and personas in the Marketing Strategy. Leverages CRM, marketing and analytic systems to execute at scale, track performance, and optimize efforts to deliver high quality leads while mainstreaming the best performing tactics.
  • Collaborates with content marketing, direct marketing, digital marketing, social media, events and branding teams to develop messaging, supporting content and experiences that inspire action and attracts a qualified audience.
  • Grows new leads, including marketing-qualified leads, by converting site traffic through calls-to-action, landing pages, and lead generation content (including offers) and optimization of marketing automation and lead nurturing processes through email, content, and social channels.
  • Manages closed-loop analytics for business unit(s), including standard program conversion rates by program type, pipeline creation, acceleration and win/loss dynamics to inform strategic planning to continually refine processes to convert customers.
  • Serves as the marketing expert for the business unit(s) and ensures constant communication around marketing plans and marketing results to all stakeholders.
  • Manages the budget of marketing funds.
  • Performs all other miscellaneous responsibilities and duties as assigned

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business from accredited institution or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: Minimum 8 years of marketing experience.
  • Technical Skills: Demonstrated proficiency and advance expertise with personal computers and Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and SharePoint) or similar software. Hands-on familiarity with Salesforce, Marketo, Dynamics 365, landing page personalization, retargeting ad networks and social advertising platforms or similar systems to identify, engage and track relevant prospects at target accounts.
  • Other Job Qualifications: Strong integrated marketing skills with demonstrated management of integrated marketing programs and campaigns. Detail-oriented, strategic thinker with strong analytical skills to synthesize raw data into actionable campaign optimization strategies for new and existing initiatives. Self-starter with drive to succeed in a quickly changing business environment. Strong time and project management skills with proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously. Outstanding cross-group collaboration, interpersonal, verbal and written communication, problem solving, and executive presentation skills are required. Comfort with high levels of ambiguity and proven ability to have impact and influence. Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use data to inform all decisions.
