The Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) made its inaugural appearance in India following the pandemic, participating in the Outbound Travel Mart (OTM) 2024 last week.
Taking place at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai from February 8 to 10, 2024, Bahrain’s representatives actively engaged with the Indian market, focusing on enhancing the MICE, wedding, and leisure segments.
Sally Sedky, Head of Tourism Marketing at Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), stated, “Our presence at OTM 2024 provided an opportunity to exhibit Bahrain’s dynamic tourism offerings to the Indian market. Our interactions with industry professionals and media during the event were crucial in strengthening connections and positioning Bahrain as a premier destination for Indian travelers.”
BTEA was represented by 11 partners, including Gulf Air, Exhibition World Bahrain, Gulf Hotel Bahrain, K Hotel Bahrain, Lagoona Beach Luxury Resorts and Spa, Westin, Le Méridien City Centre Bahrain, and notable Destination Management Companies (DMCs) such as Caravan Travel and Tours, Vacanza Bahrain, Farhat Tours, Bahrain International Travel, and Best of Bahrain.
