American Express Travel unveiled its annual Trending Destinations list for 2024 on Wednesday, featuring the top 10 vacation spots derived from global American Express Card Member travel bookings and insights from the 6,000-member expert Travel Consultants team at Amex Travel.
This year’s list, titled “2024 Trending Destinations: Off the Beaten Path,” goes beyond the conventional, well-known vacation spots to discover hidden gems and novel experiences sought after by travelers, especially Millennials and Gen-Z.
Among the standout destinations are Porto Cervo, Italy; San Miguel De Allende, Mexico; Udaipur, India; and Zermatt, Switzerland.

The list, named for every type of traveler, provides a diverse range of options, whether one desires a new adventure or aims to avoid crowds.
