AirAsia wins big at World Travel Awards Asia

AirAsia has once again been named Asia's Leading Low-Cost Airline for an unprecedented eighth consecutive year and Asia's Leading Low-Cost Airline Cabin Crew for the seventh consecutive year at the World Travel Awards (WTA) Asia and Oceanea.

AirAsia has once again been named Asia’s Leading Low-Cost Airline for an unprecedented eighth consecutive year and Asia’s Leading Low-Cost Airline Cabin Crew for the seventh consecutive year at the World Travel Awards (WTA) Asia and Oceanea.

Bo Lingam, the Group CEO of AirAsia Aviation Group Limited, expressed gratitude, saying, “We would like to extend our thanks to nearly 800 million guests and our incredible Allstars for their tremendous support! As we continue to aim for the return of 200 planes to operation by the end of the year, rest assured that we will maintain the same unwavering commitment that has brought us to this point. Suhaila Hassan, the AirAsia Group Head of Cabin Crew, stated the carrier’s pride in receiving this prestigious award once more. She added, “This remarkable achievement is a heartfelt tribute to our exceptional cabin crew members who consistently go above and beyond to ensure that our guests’ journeys are nothing less than exceptional. This recognition is not merely a token of appreciation. It is a testament to the passion and dedication that drive us forward, pushing us to constantly enhance our services. In addition, AirAsia’s one-stop travel platform, airasia Superapp, was also recognized with the “Asia’s Leading Online Travel Agency (OTA)” award.
