A life-saving heart transplant, reconnecting on the other side of the world, meeting the love of your life… These real-life, unique stories all have one thing in common, air travel. In ‘Passengers’, the new Air France podcast, five travellers share their extraordinary stories. The series is now available on podcast platforms and on board the airline’s long-haul flights.

For 92 years, Air France has been flying its passengers around the world, providing them with a unique and sometimes incredible travel experience. With its ‘Passengers podcast, the airline has invited five travellers – Guillaume, Sophie, Mariel, Igor and Anna – to share their stories.

Each of the five 15-minute episodes invites listeners to immerse themselves in these stories of unforgettable encounters and experiences made possible by air travel. It all starts with Guillaume, a heart surgeon and university professor, who tells us about transporting the very first human heart across the Atlantic, from the West Indies to Paris, on board an Air France flight, to save a patient’s life. Other stories follow, such as that of Mariel, an adopted child living in the United States, who as an adult is reunited with her birth family in France. Then there’s Anna, who met the love of her life after swapping seats on board a flight. These true-life stories go far beyond the simple experience of boarding a plane, showing how air travel can play a decisive role in all our lives.

The ‘Passengers’ podcast is now available in French and English on Deezer, Apple Podcasts and Spotify. ‘Passengers’ can also be enjoyed on long-haul flights as part of the in-flight entertainment offer.

‘Passengers’ is a podcast presented by Air France. Kenza Helal-Hocke oversaw production for Louie Creative, Louie Media’s content creation agency. Alice Kerviel recorded and directed the episodes, with music by Michael Liot. The content is hosted by Acast.
