AeromexicoGrupo Aeromexico S.A.B. de C.V. (“Aeromexico”) reports its August 2023 operational results:
- Grupo Aeromexico transported 2 million and 321 thousand passengers in August 2023, a 14.3% year-on-year increase. International passengers increased by 10.3%, while domestic passengers increased by 16.1%.
- Aeromexico’s total capacity, measured in available seat kilometers (ASKs) increased by 9.6% year-on-year. International ASKs increased by 14.0%, while domestic capacity increased by 2.3% year-on-year.
- Demand, measured in passenger-kilometers (RPKs) increased by 15.0% year-on-year. International demand increased by 16.8% as compared to August 2022. Domestic demand increased by 11.7% with respect to August 2022.
- Aeromexico’s August 2023 load factor was 87.7%, a 4.1 p.p. increase as compared to August 2022. International load factor increased by 2.2 p.p. and domestic load factor increased by 7.4 p.p.
