Walmart Canada has introduced its Delivery Pass, a subscription program that grants customers access to unlimited, free next-day delivery on thousands of items, all for less than $2 per week. The service also offers discounted same-day and express delivery options from Walmart stores. With a competitive monthly fee of $8.97 or an annual fee of $89, customers can enjoy convenient, efficient, and affordable shopping experiences, spending less time in-store with the option of having groceries and other items delivered directly to their doorstep.

Laurent Duray, Chief E-commerce Officer at Walmart Canada, highlighted that the Delivery Pass is designed to meet customers’ needs for fast and convenient delivery without compromising on the store’s everyday low prices. The program aims to create an efficient and consistent omnichannel offering, allowing Canadians to access the products they want, when they want them, and at the best prices.

Amanda Shoalts, Senior Manager of Store Fulfilled Strategy, emphasized the simplicity of using the Delivery Pass. Customers can book a delivery time that suits their convenience, add items to their cart, and have delivery fees waived as part of the subscription benefits. The Delivery Pass is currently available for purchase through the Walmart app, enabling customers to place orders on the app or walmart.ca once they have subscribed.

The program is currently available in the Greater Ottawa Area and the Greater Toronto Area, with plans to expand it nationwide in the coming weeks and months. Ignacio Baladrón, Vice President of Omnichannel Operations, expressed Walmart Canada’s commitment to further evolving the program and introducing new features. The Delivery Pass aims to save customers both time and money, offering unlimited, free next-day delivery on various items, including groceries, electronics, and toys. Walmart Canada operates over 400 stores across the country and serves 1.5 million customers daily, while its online store receives more than 1.5 million daily visitors.
