GLOMark Potter, new MD for Etihad’s Guest Loyalty Program, will share his insights on latest loyalty developments and recent initiatives from Etihad on GLO’s WAF Loyalty panel on 27/09 at 12:50.
During 2023 Etihad has piloted several new CX features for its customers, including:
- in September 2023, Air France-KLM Group and Etihad Airways have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aiming at enhancing their collaboration across passenger operations, loyalty programmes, talent development, and maintenance.
- in August 2023, Etihad launched Etihad Guest Loyalty program’s “ultra-exclusive 300-piece NFT collection” mirroring the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. Arcube and Etihad extend their partnership for new NFT collection and Staking-for-miles pilot for NFT holders. Members can enjoy 12-month Etihad Silver Tier promotion, which includes priority check-in, 25% extra Etihad Guest Miles, lounge access at Abu Dhabi International, and more. Additionally, buyers will be granted membership to the Etihad: Virtual Club, which provides an additional 10% extra miles, a fast-track promotion from Silver to Gold Tier for 6 months, and a customised Etihad membership card for online and app use
- In June 2023, Etihad Airways partnered with Pine Labs’ Qwikcilver to integrate to Qwikcilver’s Asset Manager solution which will ensure that customers of Etihad Airways receive their vouchers in a timely manner, which will improve CX and customer retention.
- In May 2023, Etihad has won “Best Frequent Flyer Programme award” at the Business Traveller 2023 Awards.
- In April 2023, Etihad introduced free ”Chat” service to all Etihad Guest members flying on it’s widebody fleet.
- In March 2023, Etihad introduced new award pricing with simplified award charts making it more transparent dividing awards into two categories: one for travel on Etihad Airways and for travel on partner airlines.
