GLOSriLankan Airlines received the prestigious title of Leading International Airline – South Asia at the recent South Asian Travel Awards (SATA) held in Bangalore, India just last week.
At the same awards ceremony, the airline also clinched the Leading Airline Class – Business Class category. SATA, widely regarded as one of the most esteemed recognitions in the region’s travel and hospitality industry, annually acknowledges the top performers based on votes cast by industry professionals and passengers in South Asia.
By adding these latest wins to its previous achievement of the ‘Visitors Choice – Airline of the Year’ citation at the previous year’s SATA event, SriLankan Airlines continues to affirm its prominent position in the South Asian region.
The airline currently operates 140 weekly flights connecting Colombo with numerous cities across South Asia, including destinations in India, the Maldives, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Nepal.
