Yas Island marked a significant milestone this year as a renowned leisure and entertainment destination, earning over 130 awards. Simultaneously, Saadiyat Island celebrated a noteworthy triumph with more than 40 prestigious awards, establishing itself as the premier beach destination in the Middle East, lauded for its world-class resorts, cultural attractions, and dining establishments.
Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, Miral’s Chairman, expressed pride in the success across Abu Dhabi’s tourism ecosystem, emphasizing the commitment to bolstering the emirate’s global tourism standing. Yas Island, particularly its leading theme parks, received international acclaim in 2023. Recognitions included the World Travel Awards naming Yas Island the ‘World’s Leading Theme Park Destination’ and various awards for individual theme parks, such as Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi and Ferrari World Yas Island.
The newest addition to Yas Island, SeaWorld Abu Dhabi, achieved remarkable success shortly after its inauguration, receiving the ‘Award in Outstanding Achievement’ at the TEA Awards and recognition in categories like ‘Best Use of Theming’ at the Park World Excellence Awards.
Yas Island’s lifestyle and dining offerings received 16 prestigious awards, with Yas Bay Waterfront and hotels like Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island and W Abu Dhabi Yas Island earning accolades for their excellence.
