In support of that, we are driving a comprehensive Customer Experience & Design (CX&D) program within Foundry to drive the creation of new innovative products developed using customer-centric strategic and design approaches.
The role:
The delivery of excellent customer experience requires a strong performing cross-functional team, harnessing the skills of the UX disciplines: Research, Product Experience Design, Content Design, Experience Strategy, and more.
The Experience Researcher is a key member of the team who is responsible for helping to define, shape and test product ideas and great experiences for our customers and consumers.
The ‘senior specialist’ level of experience researcher, will involve working on research with oversight from more experienced researchers. You’ll have the opportunity to propose methodologies and research plans and you’ll receive guidance and feedback on your work before executing on your research and delivering your presentations.
Key Responsibilities
Research Planning and Execution:
• Conduct research activities across all phases of the product development lifecycle, from framing the right problem to validation of concepts and market tests.
• Collaborate with team to define research goals and objectives that contribute to informed decision-making and product implications.
• Draft research plans, recruitment screeners, discussion guides and surveys for generative and evaluative research.
• Work with third-party vendors to execute research plans when needed.
• Analysis and Presenting Insights/Recommendations:
• Apply critical thinking to analyze and synthesize findings, identifying patterns and themes.
• Translate research findings into actionable insights and recommendations, effectively communicating them through reports and presentations that resonate with diverse stakeholders.
• Organizational and Adaptive Skills:
• Demonstrate organizational skills to manage multiple research projects simultaneously.
• Be open to new challenges and have the desire to develop as a researcher and learn new skills while also contributing to the refinement of the best practices.
• Collaboration and Inclusivity:
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, ensuring diverse perspectives are valued in the research process.
• Curiosity for Cultural and Tech Trends:
• Utilize your curiosity for cultural and technology trends to identify opportunities for innovation and stay ahead of industry shifts.
All About You
• You have a qualification in a research-related field, for example, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Behavioral Economics, Marketing, etc.
• You’re excited about the global evolution of consumer experiences in the world of payments, small business, online marketplaces, digital identity, consumer loyalty and beyond.
• You have 2+ year’s industry experience in a research-related role and you are looking to learn and expand on what you already know and grow into a more experienced researcher, taking on additional responsibilities as time passes.
• You are excited about continuous learning and development, you are excited about the potential to learn from others and continue to expand on your research abilities and industry knowledge both internally and continue to learn by reading up on the latest trends, attending conferences etc.
• You have experience and knowledge of both qualitative and quantitative research methods. Experience working within the payments industry is preferred, but not a requirement.
• You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and an ability to express yourself clearly both in presentations and in writing, as well as storytelling abilities to help persuade key stakeholders.

Some practicalities:
• This is a hybrid role and you must be able to attend the local office (in Leopardstown) an average of 3 days a week.
