In addition to Munich, we are setting up a location in Berlin that focuses on “Digital Sales”. This is about PAYBACK products, business models and partnerships where PAYBACK customers can also collect and redeem points online (Web & APP). We cooperate with the leading eCommerce companies in Germany and offer access to over 650 well-known online shops from the retail, travel, telco, energy, gaming, finance and more sectors via our portals. YOUR TASKS
- Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle – including e.g. deployments, testing and monitoring
- Follow the ‘You Build It, You Run It’ approach
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code
- Doing pair-programming and code-reviews
- Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
- Ensure best possible quality of the products you own
- Prepare and produce releases of software components
- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review
- Expanding your knowledge in new areas and technologies
YOUR PROFILE
- Proven hands-on fullstack development experience
- Proven working experience in Java development
- Hands on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms
- Experience in Maven, Spring, Spring Batch, Spring Boot, Docker, Google Cloud, Terraform, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Dataflow, JavaScript, TypeScript*, React*, HTML/CSS, Node JS, Next JS*, Python*, PL/SQL, Spark* (*nice to have)
- Knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate), PostqreSQL
- Open minded towards full stack developer approach (including testing, frontend (web), backend, monitoring, DevOps, Data)
- Experience with testing frameworks
- You have fluent English skills
