Virgin VoyagesVirgin Voyages is set to elevate the concept of remote work with its Scarlet Summer Season Pass, scheduled to debut later this year. This initiative allows guests aboard the adults-only cruise line’s Scarlet Lady ship to enjoy four consecutive cruises without depleting their vacation days. Travelers can opt for discounted back-to-back Mediterranean sailings between June and September, opening up new possibilities beyond traditional office settings.
Nirmal Saverimuttu, CEO of Virgin Voyages, highlighted the shift in remote work dynamics, emphasizing that individuals are no longer confined to their desks or home offices, resigned to mundane lunches. With the latest WiFi enhancements, Virgin Voyages offers guests the opportunity to explore the world while working from the comfort of a daybed at The Dock outdoor lounge, indulging in Mediterranean cuisine between tasks, and making the most of port calls.
Passholders of the Scarlet Summer Season Pass benefit from Virgin’s Premium Wi-Fi without additional charges, regardless of whether they’re working or not. The pass offers four predetermined windows, each comprising four cruises spanning from June to September, with no blackout dates. The itineraries include stops in Cannes, Ajaccio, Civitavecchia, Ibiza, and more, varying depending on the chosen sailing date.
Priced at $9,990 for two passengers sharing a Central Sea Terrace cabin, the pass represents savings of up to 30% compared to booking four separate voyages. Additionally, passholders enjoy inclusive perks such as meals from over 20 eateries, gratuities, laundry service, a daily $10 coffee credit per cabin, priority booking for dining and shore excursions, and exclusive access to Richard’s Rooftop.
