Tesco will have to change its logo for Clubcard Prices as it has lost its legal case against rival Lidl over the design of its Clubcard Prices logo, following a ruling by the Court of Appeal.

Tesco was told to stop using the logo with yellow circle on a blue square.

Lidl argument was that Tesco had infringed its copyright, and taken “unfair advantage” of its “reputation for great value”.

Tesco said it was “disappointed”.
