The Opportunity
As part of our new communications centre of excellence, and reporting to the Head of Communications, this role is accountable for our focus on culture and colleague engagement, as we diversify, scale and transform across all our portfolio of businesses. You will design a colleague engagement plan that plays a significant part in why people join, stay and thrive, delivering great work whatever their role at IAG Loyalty.
Your remit covers Colleague Voice, Listening and Engagement, Wellbeing and our Charity & Community initiatives, with every decision anchored to our EVP (called the People Promise) and our values.
What you’ll be doing:
- You’ll know the importance of the right culture; the mindset, ways of working and behaviours, to help us deliver on our People Promise to attract and inspire talented people, and ultimately help us achieve our ambitious business goals.
- By weaving physical, mental, emotional and financial wellbeing initiatives into our culture, you will show colleagues that colleague wellbeing matters to us. You will lead the design of a Wellbeing strategy that includes long term, sustainable initiatives that put this topic on the map throughout the year.
- You’ll lead our work to understand and act on current colleague engagement levels. You’ll have ideas that go beyond annual surveys (been there, done that)- we’re looking for solutions that are meaningful, in the moment and show colleagues that we really care about their experience.
- You’ll lead the implementation and strategy for Peakon, as part of our move to Workday across the business. You will design a listening strategy that enables us to drive positive changes.
- You will analyse insight and share your perspectives with stakeholders, challenging them to take collective accountability for building a culture of high performance.
- We want you to connect with colleagues and give them a voice in all our plans using things like forums, events, communities, mission squads and collaborative design thinking.
- We need you to play your part in our Agile evolution, considering what this means for our ways of working and target culture. And of course, you’ll evolve your own ways of working along the way.
- We’re looking for someone who will grasp the opportunity to challenge the norm and who will bring content and experiences which connect and inspire colleagues to do their very best work and feel exceptionally proud to be part of IAG Loyalty.
- There’s a huge opportunity in broader projects to learn and play your part- from employer brand, to events and internal communications and so much more. We’re a boutique team – we roll our sleeves up and get involved with anything and everything.
What we’re looking for:
- You will be a jedi of stakeholder management and relationship building, recognising that the success of the role rests on a comprehensive understanding of the business, our strategic objectives and our people.
- We are looking for a standout Culture and Engagement Partner with deep experience in delivering this type of work across multiple businesses.
- A Partner with proven credentials and experience- particularly confident and comfortable in tech, digital and commercial environments.
- Someone truly passionate and knowledgeable about colleague experience and the impact on performance, attraction and retention.
- Your verbal and written communication is strong, you use straightforward language to share your ideas and data to inform your thinking.
- You will bring thought leadership and expertise to all parts of the role- a seasoned culture and colleague engagement expertise who has grown their skills in more than one type of business.
- You’ll relish being part of a talented People Team where you’ll contribute with your expertise and you’ll be an integral part of our community and mission.
- You’ll need to demonstrate stellar relationship and influencing skills, commercial acumen and bring external stimulus and creativity into our design thinking.
- We’re focused on agility across all business areas and we’re building our knowledge and experience to work in this way in the People Team. You’ll bring expertise or a willingness to learn.
What we can offer you:
- Annual Bonus (dependant on Company & Individual Performance)
- Discounts on BA flights and holidays from day one for you, your friends and family
