Givex Corp., is pleased to present its financial results for the three-month period ending March 31, 2024. Givex reports in Canadian dollars and in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (“IFRS”).

First Quarter Financial Highlights
Three-month period ending March 31, 2024 (with comparisons relative to the three-month period ending March 31, 2023)
- Revenue of $20.8 million, representing 8.6% growth.
- Gross Profit of $14.0 million, representing 6.3% growth.
- Net Income of $492,000, versus a loss in Q1, 2023.
- EBITDA1 of $1.7 million, a 3,361% increase.
- Total Gross Transactional Value2 of $1.74 billion, a 10% increase.
- POS Gross Transactional Value3 of $472 million, a 17% increase.
- Customer Locations4 of 132,000, an 8% increase.
- As at March 31, 2024, Givex had $23.7 million in cash and cash equivalents.
Operational Highlights
- Continued product optimization leading to the delisting of low-margin gift card resales, with expected long-term improvements to gross profit.
- Improved operational efficiencies achieved with completion of Hong Kong data centre migration to Givex technology platform; expected to deliver estimated annual savings in excess of $350,000.
- Payroll costs are the key focus to improved EBITDA and positive net earnings. For the 12-month periods ending March 31, 2024 and 2023, Employee Compensation5 as a % of Gross Profit was 54% and 54%, respectively. The company believes that its ability to control Employee Compensation as a % of Gross Profit is an indicator of its success in managing costs and profitability.
