The Taj resort in Hamala will offer 251 rooms, designed to reflect the island’s tranquil atmosphere. It will feature an all-day dining restaurant, two specialty restaurants, a swimming pool, and an exclusive beach club. The resort will also include wellness amenities such as a gym and spa, along with 1,200 sq m of banquet facilities for events.
Situated in the heart of Bahrain’s capital, the 200-room Taj hotel in Downtown Seef, Manama, will cater to both business travelers and tourists. The hotel will offer wellness facilities including a gym, spa, and swimming pool. Dining options will include an all-day dining restaurant, specialty restaurants, and a pool bar. Additionally, the hotel will feature banquet spaces designed for meetings, corporate events, and weddings.
Expansion in the Middle East
These new developments will complement IHCL’s existing properties in the UAE, which include Taj Dubai, Taj Exotica Resort & Spa, and Taj JLT. They will also strengthen the brand’s presence in Saudi Arabia with upcoming hotels, emphasizing the strategic importance of the Middle East to its growth plans. By selecting strategic locations and partners, IHCL continues to expand its footprint in the region, aiming to operate seven hotels with four under development.
Area director Saurabh Tiwari will oversee the projects in Bahrain. His international experience in Spain and the UK has influenced his hotel management approach, and he is expected to play a key role in the successful execution and management of these initiatives.
As part of this expansion, Tiwari will focus on recruiting local talent for the new properties. This initiative aims to enhance local employment and incorporate individuals with a deep understanding of the Bahraini market, ensuring that the new projects align with local culture and preferences.
