Four Seasons Resort Marrakech unveils a highly anticipated rooftop experience, offering year-round relaxation and socializing with creative cocktails and delicious bar bites, highlighting quality products and innovative flavours.

The Ultimate Rooftop Experience in Marrakech

Stepping into Zest is a breathtaking experience. Guests are greeted by a lively oasis atmosphere with an open layout adorned with Moroccan-chic furniture, modern zellige – Moroccan tiles – and a central bar. The surrounding lounges, featuring stylish Moroccan-style seating, create a social hub for the space. Guests can also enjoy a 360 degree panoramic view of the city’s grand gardens and the Atlas Mountains from both high tables and chic lounge seating.

The rooftop is designed to host a variety of events at different times of day. The central bar, with its bright yellow and fresh green tones, can be enjoyed in any weather. This colour scheme harmonizes with the lush gardens and panoramic vistas, creating a seamless blend that gives guests the sensation of being both indoors and outdoors simultaneously.

Unique Signature Cocktails Experience

As part of its characteristic innovation, which also applies to its cocktail bar, the team, is launching a unique signature cocktail experience that immerses guests in the vibrant flavours of Marrakech and its lush gardens. This innovative menu pays homage to Marrakech’s distinct gardens and souks infusing their unique flavours into a series of captivating cocktails. Each drink is meticulously crafted to reflect the essence of Marrakech, from the aromatic rosemary and pomegranate notes found in the Riads, blended with Grey Goose, to the tangy grapefruit notes of the Arsa cocktail, featuring Belvedere, while the refreshing orange and mint combination in the Agdal cocktail brings the serene flavours of the grand Agdal gardens to life.

With this new offering, Zest takes guests on a sensory journey through the lush landscapes of Marrakech. The cocktails are designed to evoke the vibrant beauty of each garden type, celebrating their distinctive flavours and the rich heritage they represent, with an array of exotic flavours and visually stunning presentations.

ILOLI taking Residence starting from September

Starting in September 2024, Zest will host ILOLI Restaurant, marking its first-ever residency in Marrakech. Founded in 2013 by Yusuke Furukawa and Noëlle Bouayad, ILOLI has earned its reputation as Morocco’s premier destination for Japanese gastronomy. With a menu featuring traditional Japanese specialties alongside innovative dishes, ILOLI has gained recognition as one of LA LISTE’s TOP 1000 restaurants worldwide and is consistently ranked among the 50 Best restaurants in the Middle East/North Africa region.

Executive Chef Yusuke Furukawa, known as “Masta,” brings to Marrakech his exceptional culinary expertise to this residency. Born in Tokyo and trained at renowned establishments such as Château de Joël Robuchon and Comme des Poissons, Masta’s dedication to perfection promises an extraordinary dining experience for Marrakech’s discerning food enthusiasts.

During this special residency, guests will savour a selection of exceptional dishes, including Oyster with Champagne Jelly, Yellowtail Carpaccio, Caviar Gunkan, and Truffled Beef Tataki Donburi. To elevate the experience, each dish will be paired with a signature Japanese-inspired cocktail, enhancing the artistry and precision that have defined ILOLI’s renowned cuisine.
