Emirates has pledged support to the SmileAngel Foundation to provide meals for children and their families during their charity parent-child summer camp, which includes 20 children with cleft lip and palate conditions, along with eight children from volunteering families.

EmiratesEmirates has pledged support to the SmileAngel Foundation to provide meals for children and their families during their charity parent-child summer camp, which includes 20 children with cleft lip and palate conditions, along with eight children from volunteering families. Emirates has provisioned for 1440 meals to be provided for more than 40 people at the camp which started on 31 July and will run until 11 August in Beijing. The meals have been carefully selected for their nutritional benefits to support the children’s wellbeing.
Adam Li, Emirates’ Vice President in China, commented: Emirates’ commitment to China doesn’t stop at providing world-class onboard and on-ground experiences, we also believe in the power of giving back by supporting community outreach efforts that drive positive change. About the SmileAngel Foundation
SmileAngel Foundation, a charity affiliated with the Chinese Red Cross Foundation was established on 21st November 2006 to provide comprehensive services and support for children born with cleft lip and palate defects and their families. The annual summer camp aims to offer growth and development opportunities for these children. The 11th charity parent-child summer camp takes place from 31 July to 11 August in Beijing, supported by experts from various fields such as medicine, education, and the arts, as well as volunteers. Through diverse programs and activities including speech therapy, psychological healing, drama education, music, and painting, the summer camp significantly contributes to the children’s growth.
